A few weeks back I had the pleasure of doing an interview on the rather excellent FLOSSWeekly podcast with Leo Laporte and Randal Schwartz. On it I talk Community, Ubuntu, Art Of Community, Canonical, Severed Fifth and more. Check it out here.

Just a quick note to say how much I enjoy the FLOSS weekly podcast.

What you said about “entitlement” struck a chord with me.

A few years back I ran a charity for a while. My staff were forever telling me what they were entitled to. I found the more vocal ones about what they were due to were the least productive.

Entitlement and ego are cancers in voluntary organisations and communities.

I, too, was quite intrigued by your appearance on FLOSS. I’m sad to say that I was unfamiliar with your work until hearing Leo and Randle chat with you.

Our church has been going through a lot of growing pains recently and I’m raring to get ahold of your book and hopefully pass it on to my pastors for their edification as well.

Or maybe I’ll even buy them their own copies. grin
